Edmund Rice

Edmund Rice is a man of R.I.C.E because he is a Rice Man, he is a christian who had a rough life but ended off by making the school I go to today which is Rice High School. Even though Edmund Rice had a rough life he spended ALL mof his $ on us so that we can get an education and be successful in life

The Passover

The passover is an important time in history because it is when people like us celebrate their freedom. I can relate to this because in Religion I have witnessed a passover meal.

Moses

Moses is also a good role model to us because he listened to God. He listened to god in the Burning Bush, When God told Moses about what to do with the snake. Moses is a good role model to you and me.

JOB

Job is a good role model to us because he stayed faithful to God even though he lost everything because of the bet the God and Satan made. Job remained faithful because he knew that God has gave him everything and there should be a good reason for God taking everything away from Job.

My Prayer

O Lord, Our God thank you for letting me have a loving family.

Thank you for letting me have a roof over my head each night.

Thank you for the chance to prove myself in Rice.

Thank you Lord for the food on my plate every day.

Thank you for letting me have a chance to get into a good college.

Thank you for letting me see the day that we have a black president in the United States of America.

Thank you for letting me live every day.

Thank you for letting me have such good teachers.

Thank you for letting me have a mother and father who are willing to go out of their way for me everyday.

Thank you for the clothes that are on my back.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, your son lives and reigns with you and the holy spirit .

The "N" Word

The N Word brings the faith of people down because they offend these people in so many ways and don't care about how they feel about that word. The word is used to discrimate all who acre offended when people say that word. The N Word brings doubt to our soul.

Faith and Doubt

Moses saved the hebrew people when they were in the desert. They had faith in Moses and a little bit of doubt. They almost felt like God abandoned them, like he didn't care for them.

Prayer

God, I adore you because you woke me up this morning

God, I am sorry that I don't obay your wishes at times

God, I thank you because you allowed me to go to Rice High School

Lord God, give us strength because we are weak
